José María Sánchez Sanjuan - Baritone Sax

Born in Cañada (Alicante). He began his music studies at the age of 10 at the school of music in his home town with Professor Miguel Ángel Más Mataix.

Later, he passed the admission tests in order to enter the middle grade of music at the ‘Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Villena’, where he studied saxophone with Professor José Luna.

 

In 2008, he began the saxophone professional studies at the ‘Conservatorio Superior de Música “Oscar Esplá”’ of Alicante with Professor Israel Mira, finishing them in 2012.

 

Since 2008, he has attended training courses and Masterclasses in order to improve his technique, imparted by different Professors such as Javier de la Vega, Federico Coca, Simon Diricq, Miguel Ángel Lorente, Manuel Mijan and Massimo Mazoni, among others.


Finally, it has to be mentioned his collaboration with diverse formations such as the ‘Orquesta Sinfónica del teatro “Chapí” de Villena’, the ‘Orquesta de Saxofones de la Comunidad Valenciana’ (ORSAXCOVA)’ and his membership in the “Emiolia” quartet and in “Seiklus Ensemble”.
